Seemed authentic. I had the Chicken parmesan Alfredo. I loved that they had it with Alfredo sauce. It was very enjoyable. My discriminating mother was impressed, so that is saying something.

This is my place I go when I want a Italian vacation. I love this place! From the music playing in the background to the decor and the aromas of Italian pizza feeling your nostrils, you have that Italian feel .The owners are great people! The food is so great reminds me so much of when I lived in Sicily. This little hidden gem has now been found for somedays the line has been out the door, well worth the wait or go back after the rush! Short staffed sometimes, so always remember to be kind, respectful and patient to the staff that are providing us a service so we can enjoy ourselves! 😉

We have enjoyed two visits. We first ordered a pizza and enjoyed it enough to make us want to come back again and try menu items. Great service with friendly staff willing to recommend great specials and even better desert options.

My husband and I stopped by on our way home from vacation. We love going to local places and giving them a try, and let me tell you, this place was great! My husband had stuffed shells and I had the chicken bruschetta. Both absolutely amazing! The bread they give to start is soft and flavorful. The tiramisu was delicious, and by far the closest we've found to authentic. I don't really like leaving reviews, but I had to for this place. The staff was small, but they were very nice and we didn't wait long for anything. We will be happy to stop again next time we're in town. So good!

Nice atmosphere! First time here, not disappointed. The pizza was very good, the crust was light and crunchy, just the way it should be. I'll be going back for more Italian favorites.

Went for lunch for first time. Had the best cheesesteak I have ever had. Oh my. So fresh. I usually put A-1 on my cheesesteak to give it more flavor, but this one needed nothing extra. My sister had the Vesuvio's burger & said it was awesome as well.

Great place to eat good Italian food. I always get the Cheese steak works and it’s always delicious. Most of the time it’s more than I can eat so I save the other half for the next days lunch. It came with homemade chips and ranch. They were crisp and very good. My wife got Chicken Marsala with bread and a side salad. The chicken was quite tasty and plentiful but the salad was a little on the skimpy side. She has plenty of leftovers for her lunch tomorrow. We called the order in and it was ready upon my arrival. If I could give a 1/2 star, I would have rated it 4.5. We will continue to support this great little restaurant.
4/2/22. We just ordered two new items. I got the stuffed shells and they were great. Love the ricotta cheese and marinara sauce. Had a salad with balsamic dressing. Wife ordered cheese ravioli and she really enjoyed them. This place doesn’t disappoint!

You guys unknowingly made my Valentine's Day extra special. I am very pregnant and did not feel like going out to dinner so we ordered through Door dash. I haven't had the best experiences in the past with ordering through Door Dash but everything came correct, hot, and delicious!! So yummy. Highly recommend.

Very impressed. Dining here from out of town. Breadsticks served first with lovely oil and vinegar dip. Salad that came with my meal was fresh and crisp. My moms meal came with a yummy tomato basil soup. Garlic knots with marinara for appetizer, was not expecting how many came out and they were buttery and crisp yet soft inside. My meal was broccoli and garlic that I opted to have over 3 cheese tortellini. Good, fresh veggie flavor and light olive oil sauce. My mom had cod tempura that came with shrimp scampi. Her plate also had blistered tomatoes and sauteed spinach that I did not try but she raved about. I did try her scallops and they were AMAZING. Golden all the way around and just really good flavor. Good service, they took our questions and the chef even came out to answer about the origin of the seafood. Kudos for USA sourced!! Highly recommend👍👍

After spending almost 4 years living in Italy, finding a Italian Restaurant that is Owned and Operated by TRUE Italians and not a "Corporate" owned restaurant is far and few. I can DEFINITELY say though that this Italian restaurant is as authentic as it comes. The owners are a husband and wife team who work 6 days a week from open to close to keep their dream alive. Covid hit their business very hard so they are short staffed in order to keep their doors open. They practically run the business on their own. The food takes a little extra time to prepare so if you are looking for fast, microwave food this is NOT the place to go. The food is FRESH, HOMEMADE, FULL OF DELICIOUS FLAVORS and the portions are plentiful. Don't expect the "server" to come to your table a million times, like a corporate ran restaurant. She is a co-owner and has a million other things to do to keep the restaurant operating while her husband is the cook. They do their very best to stay open to give you the BEST, AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD in the area! BE PATIENT when going here and you will leave VERY SATISFIED and you WILL return!

Dear god, so good. Every bite delicious. Even my “I only eat cereal and McDonald’s chicken nuggets” ate his pepperoni pizza making yummy noises and licking his fingers. The atmosphere is lovely but the food. THE FOOD. Far more than your moneys worth.

Food is really good and the staff is very nice and understanding of rambunctious little boys. It is always a relief as a single mama to be able to get a hot meal and not be made to feel unwelcome because of the boys.

We came in at 8:00 on a Wednesday, and were seated immediately. We ordered chicken pasta and a large marinated chicken salad. The food was delicious. The service was good. The prices were reasonable. There was enough leftover for one lunch the next day. The total for 2 dinners, a beer & tip was $40. Give them a try. We'll come back.

We finally had a meal inside the restaurant. It was fabulous. The portions were large, the service great and the atmosphere like eating with a friend. I would highly recommend this restaurant for dine-in or take-out.

Unassuming restaurant in a strip mall - but well worth a visit inside. The Chicken Vesuvio's was one of the best Italian, if not the best, Italian dishes I have ever had. Chicken was very tender and delicate and not laced with salt - a bonus really good dish all the way around. This would be my regular dinner spot if I lived closer. Service was spot on as well.

We went there as a family with a baby. They were accommodating and served us quickly. The menu has a good selection without being overwhelming. I had a meatball parmesan sub; it was good but not great. Daughter ordered lasagna which she declared great. My grandson was able to get spaghetti with butter. I tasted it and it was surprisingly good! The prices were about average and the place was very clean. I would go again.

Please order their spaghetti with meat sauce and add meatballs. It's my favorite. The meatballs are homemade, mild, and delicious. I'm pretty sure God orders from here. (It's that good!) Let's talk about the Tomato sauce. It takes me home, to the garden with Granny, where we gather our fruits, take them to the kitchen and turn them into jars full of goodness to last all year. I could just drink it. It really is that good.

Just had dinner here for first time tonight. I had chicken vesuvio. Best Italian I've had in Statesville. A small, very clean, great-looking place. I really loved it. Staff is courteous, polite, and very sweet. Excellent job. Timing was fantastico!
